ROOKIE centre-half Mitchell Nelson could end more than 16 months of transfer inactivity by becoming one of Eddie Howe's first permanent signings of the summer.[LNB] The Tooting and Mitcham central defender claims to have agreed a reported three-year contract at Dean Court as the newly promoted club continue to be linked with a number of potential targets.[LNB] Howe has made it clear he will not comment on transfer speculation and politely declined to talk about Nelson when contacted by the Echo yesterday.[LNB] Meanwhile, the latest player to be linked with the club is striker Liam Enver-Marum, who was released by Eastbourne Borough after scoring 16 goals last season.[LNB] He revealed he had trained with Cherries at the back end of last season.[LNB]
