Cherries: Howe nominated for manager of the month

Cherries' form under Eddie Howe has been recognised by the npower Football League.[LNB] The Dean Court boss has been nominated for the November manager of the month award after Cherries claimed eight points and remained unbeaten during the month.[LNB] Howe is joined on the shortlist by Oldham Athletic manager Paul Dickov, Sheffield Wednesday's Alan Irvine and Phil Parkinson of Charlton Athletic.[LNB] The winners will be announced on Thursday, December 9, with the judging panel comprising ex-Charlton boss Alan Curbishley, Sky Sports pundit Peter Beagrie, Football League chief operating officer Andy Williamson, BBC Sport's Mark Clemmit, League Managers' Association deputy CEO Olaf Dixon and npower head of sponsorship Emma Collins.[LNB] ¢ Cherries fans are being urged to attend a supporters' Christmas party with all money raised going to the club.[LNB] The event is on Friday, December 10 from 7.30pm to 12.30am at Dean Court's Inn off the Bar.[LNB] The price is £10 per head, which includes a disco and buffet.
