BRETT Pitman has identified Cherries young management duo as key to his decision to sign a long-term deal with the club.[LNB] The talented forward celebrated his new three-year contract by playing a vital role as Cherries secured a stunning 3-0 opening-day victory at Bury.[LNB] He produced a moment of magic to put Cherries in front before turning provider as the visitors put the game to bed prior to the interval at Gigg Lane.[LNB] And Pitman, who sealed the contract on the eve of the new campaign, makes no secret of why he chose to commit his future to the Dean Court outfit.[LNB] I was pleased to get it done, the homegrown frontman told the Echo.[LNB] Eddie (Howe) and Jason (Tindall) have been a massive, massive factor in me signing.[LNB] Were trying to build for the future and, hopefully, thats the start of it.[LNB] Im in the side to score goals but, if I work hard for the team and the goals come, thats a bonus, he added.[LNB] Im looking to put the work in and, the more goals I score, the more points we should accumulate, so it goes hand in hand.[LNB]
