BOSS Eddie Howe felt Cherries' 5-1 rout of promotion hopefuls Peterborough United stamped his side's League One credentials.[LNB] Brett Pitman's 16-minute hat-trick added to first-half goals from Marc Pugh and Anton Robinson as Cherries put Posh to the sword at Dean Court.[LNB] Howe, who celebrated his biggest win as a manager, said: We were outstanding from the first whistle and really took the game to them. We hadn't scored in two games and responded in fantastic style.[LNB] If there were any doubts that we weren't good enough at this level, I think they have quickly gone. There were no doubts from inside the changing room, it was more people from outside. They are very quick to jump to conclusions and can quickly turn on you.[LNB] Everyone to a man was excellent and we all performed. We put them under real pressure, closed them down from the front and got our rewards.[LNB] With striker Michael Symes fit, Howe was able to start with two up front for the first time this season. And Cherries raced into a 2-0 lead inside 20 minutes thanks to Pugh's header and Robinson's strike.[LNB] Howe added: I thought we looked better and I thought our shape was good. I didn't think our shape was bad in the other games. We were unlucky against Southampton and Charlton. It was just a case of getting Michael fit and getting him up to match speed. Considering the lack of training he has had, he was excellent.[LNB] Marc Pugh didn't stop running and Liam Feeney was a constant threat. Having a threat from both sides is an added element to us this season and I think it's going to make us a much better team.[LNB] Marvin Bartley and Anton Robinson covered so much ground and made life slightly easier for our back four who were terrific again. It was no mean feat to keep their strikers as quiet as we did.[LNB] Cherries' all-round team display was arguably one of the best in recent years, while the nature of the stylish performance delighted Howe.[LNB] I think it's important to the Bournemouth people, he said. They have been brought up on good, attacking football and seeing the game played the right way and I am not about to change that.[LNB]
