Cherries handed breathing space

HMRC confirmed they have given the Murry Group, who assumed control of the League Two club last month, more time to ensure they can service the debt and the case will now be heard in 12 weeks time. The Cherries will be hoping the transfer embargo placed on them by the Football League will now be lifted as boss Eddie Howe looks to shape his squad ahead of the new season. The south-coast club's new chairman Eddie Mitchell revealed earlier this month that an interim payment had been made to HMRC soon after their takeover.
