Cherries management duo Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall are keen to continue playing their part in the Dean Court revolution.[LNB] Howe and Tindall want to help the Cherries board build a stable future after agreeing to extend their respective stays with the club.[LNB] The highly-regarded pair this week finalised terms on new deals that will keep them under contract to Cherries at least until 2013.[LNB] Chairman Eddie Mitchell handed Howe and Tindall three-year deals last summer and has topped them up with 12-month extensions.[LNB] Howe told the Daily Echo: The chairman approached us before the end of the season to ask whether we would be interested in signing another year and neither of us hesitated.[LNB] We appreciated the club coming to us and we wanted to get it sorted because stability and length of contract are important when you are trying to build something in the long term.[LNB] It also helps when you are trying to recruit players because they know you are committed to the club so I think it was a positive move on the part of everybody.[LNB] Formerly team-mates at Dean Court, Howe and Tindall came together to plot Cherries' escape from relegation following Jimmy Quinn's sacking in December 2008.[LNB] And the pair of 32-year-olds marked their first full season in management by leading Cherries to promotion from the bottom flight last season.[LNB] Howe added: In the short term, we have got to try to be competitive in a really tough league and we are confident we can be.[LNB] It is going to be a tough season but one we can look forward to with no fear.[LNB] If we can match the levels we achieved last season, then it should be another exciting |year for us.[LNB] We want to try to be progressive in the league we are in and see where it takes us.[LNB] The long-term aim is to stabilise the club. You can never plan too far ahead in football or set too many targets because things can change so quickly. But we are both very happy with all aspects of the club.[LNB] The chairman and the board have all been brilliant with us. They have backed and helped us.[LNB] They are making changes off the pitch and you can see by just walking through the stadium how professional they are trying to make the club.[LNB] We are trying to make it successful on the pitch. We've got a really good backroom team in place and an excellent squad of players.[LNB] Things are looking really positive and that reflects in us signing for another year.[LNB] Meanwhile, Howe confirmed talks were ongoing with playmaker Shaun Cooper regarding a new contract and said he was hoping to hear from Steve Fletcher once he had returned from holiday. Warren Cummings must also decide whether to accept a one-year option.[LNB]
