Cherries: Doorgate on board meeting agenda

Cherries directors are today due to decide whether they will pursue Notts County after the away dressing room door was damaged during the Magpies' visit to Dean Court on Tuesday.[LNB] County goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is alleged to have kicked the door in a fit of temper as he entered the changing room with his team trailing 2-0 at the half-time interval.[LNB] Considerable damage was sustained with the wooden frame surrounding the double doors torn away from the wall, while hinges fitted to a spring mechanism were also hanging off.[LNB] Cherries chief executive Neill Blake confirmed to the Daily Echo that the matter would be on the agenda during a weekly board meeting.[LNB] Schmeichel, meanwhile, used his official Facebook page to deny the allegations of damage.[LNB] The former Manchester City stopper wrote: To put the record straight, contrary to some report, no I did not kick the door in. The door to go into the Bournemouth dressing room opens outwards, so it would be a bit pointless kicking it. I pulled the door open and it was lighter than I thought and it opened with a bang.[LNB] And there was no damage. The hinges didn't come off. I used that door a couple more times, to go out and in for a warm down and leaving to go on the bus and it was in perfect working order so where that has come from I have no idea...[LNB]
