Cherries: Defender claims to have joined Howe's men

TOOTING and Mitcham defender Mitchell Nelson has claimed he has joined Cherries.[LNB] The centre-half has reported that he has penned a three-year deal at Dean Court after being spotted by Cherries in recent trial games for Reading and Crystal Palace.[LNB] Speaking to the Tooting Guardian, the 20-year-old former Colchester trainee said: It feels great. Last year at Tooting I really missed not training and being around football every day.[LNB] To go to a team that have just gone up to League One is a dream. It is all really exciting.[LNB] I think Reading and Palace were both looking at giving me deals but Bournemouth contacted me and said they could offer me something better."[LNB] The Echo is in the process of contacting Cherries boss Eddie Howe to confirm whether the deal has been finalised.[LNB]
