Cherries: Bradders positive despite another late lapse

BOSS Lee Bradbury was keen to take the positives despite admitting Cherries had frittered more precious points against Huddersfield on Saturday.[LNB] Bradbury's men were on course to register a potentially-crucial victory against their promotion rivals before disaster struck late on at Dean Court.[LNB] Terriers substitute Danny Cadamarteri stunned Cherries when he netted to cancel out Michael Symes's opener with just seconds remaining.[LNB] It was the umpteenth time this season that Cherries had conceded a late goal and prevented them from opening a six-point gap in the promotion race.[LNB] Bradbury said: It was two points dropped but I thought the lads were brilliant. They performed excellently, were resilient and really hard working. I thought we deserved three points. The way we approached the game and the way we worked was excellent. We had a few chances and they only had the one shot on target.[LNB] On another day, we could have scored two or three. We had a few half-chances and they took their only chance. We have got to learn and have got to be tougher to beat. But to a man, I thought we defended excellently.[LNB] It was testament to the lads the way they felt that we only got a point against Huddersfield. If anybody had walked into our changing room at the end, they would have thought we had lost because the lads were really despondent.[LNB] I have told them they have done everyone proud ever since we took over.[LNB] They can't be too negative and have got to take the positives because we were the better side.[LNB] Bradbury has inherited a problem which has blighted Cherries all season and saw the late-goal jinx strike for the second home game in succession.[LNB] We are still unbeaten but we could have had another four points, said Bradbury. It is difficult to put your finger on it.[LNB] But if you tot up the points we have lost from games we have been leading, they could be the difference at the end of the day. We are trying to work on it.[LNB] It could be down to concentration levels. I don't think it's down to fitness because I believe we are one of the fittest teams in the league.[LNB] When teams are pushing on in the latter stages of the game, we are left a bit open so have got to be more guarded.[LNB] It is something we will work on. Maybe we will sit someone in there and try to see out the game. We have got to play the balls into the corners a bit more and run down the clock. But we are a young and inexperienced side so we are all learning.[LNB]
