Cherries: Bradbury delighted with early signs for strike duo

MANAGER Lee Bradbury is backing his dynamic strike duo to continue their early success.[LNB] Bradbury has demonstrated his faith in summer signing Michael Symes and emerging talent Danny Ings by throwing the pair into League One action in the past three matches.[LNB] The move has already reaped rich rewards as Cherries have seen off Brighton, Plymouth and Swindon since the rookie boss picked the double act to lead his attack.[LNB] While Ings's lively running and skilful style has caught the eye, Symes has proved an effective foil, combining good hold-up play with a bright creative awareness.[LNB] Symes played a major role in Ings's first senior goal on Tuesday night and the two Cherries strikers are in line to face Leyton Orient at Dean Court tomorrow (3pm).[LNB] And Bradbury is tipping them to form a productive alliance as the season progresses.[LNB] He told the Echo: They looked a real threat on Tuesday, more so in the first half.[LNB] They could have had a couple of goals each in the game but I was really thankful Ingsy ended up getting his goal. He deserved that.[LNB] His work rate is phenomenal and he's coming of age. Every week, he is getting better and better.[LNB] Bradbury added: Everyone is different but you need at least four or five games before you start to know each other inside out.[LNB] They are getting to know each other and developing a little bit of an understanding which I thought showed on Tuesday. Week in, week out, they will get better as a partnership.[LNB]
