LEE Bradbury pledged his future to League One Cherries and then insisted: We can deal with anyone in the division.[LNB] The 34-year-old revealed he |had agreed terms on a one-year contract extension after a |productive season at Dean Court.[LNB] Playing in his adopted right-back role, the former centre-forward was an unsung hero and a mainstay of Eddie Howe's promotion-winning defence.[LNB] The veteran campaigner earned the right to a further 12 months after triggering a clause in his existing deal by making 30 appearances and he had little hesitation in committing himself to the cause.[LNB] Bradbury follows in the footsteps of Danny Hollands and Josh McQuoid by agreeing a new contract and he is relishing the challenge of League One.[LNB] The former Portsmouth star told the Echo: The personal targets will be to try to play every game.[LNB] I'm 35 in July and I just want to enjoy my football and play as many games as I can.[LNB] I'm really pleased. It's another year for me at a better level and it's a good challenge.[LNB] I'm looking forward to it personally and I think the club and management are as well.[LNB] There are some big teams in there and some big clubs, so I'm sure it will be a testing season for us.[LNB] Having played at a higher |level during his time with the likes of Pompey and Manch-|ester City, the former £3million man knows what it takes to succeed.[LNB] And he believes Cherries can cut it among the big guns in the third tier.[LNB] There will be quicker and more switched-on players brighter players, explained Bradbury.[LNB] If we're at our best I think we can deal with anyone in the division.[LNB] We showed by beating League One teams like Yeovil last season that we can deal with it. We are looking to strengthen the squad as well, so I'm sure we can go on to do well.[LNB] Bradbury started 43 of Cherries' 46 league games and, reflecting on the momentous campaign, he admitted it was one of the best in his distinguished career.[LNB] The promotion completed a hat-trick for the veteran, who also went up with Portsmouth in 2003 and again with Southend three years later.[LNB] He added: If you'd have said a few years ago that I would be in a promotion-winning team playing right-back, I'd have laughed at you.[LNB] It was a great season. I think it will be remembered for a long time by the players we will never forget it and the fans as well.[LNB] Of the other out-of-contract players offered deals by boss Howe, Warren Cummings, Shaun Cooper and Steve Fletcher are yet to agree terms.[LNB]
