LEE Bradbury is actively looking to bolster his backroom team after revealing he attempted to persuade Burnley-bound Jon Dalzell to stay at Dean Court.[LNB] The fitness guru played a key role in Cherries' success under Eddie Howe, overseeing the team's rigorous strength and conditioning regime.[LNB] Bradbury was keen to retain the former Portsmouth coach's services, but Dalzell opted to join Howe at Turf Moor.[LNB] Caretaker boss Bradbury, who was appointed for three or four games by chairman Eddie Mitchell at the weekend, is in the process of conducting interviews to quickly find Dalzell's successor.[LNB] He believes bringing in a replacement for the conditioning coach is important to Cherries' preparations and reported that Dalzell had recommended potential candidates.[LNB] The 35-year-old told the Echo: I spoke to Jon Dalzell on Wednesday and he has signed at Burnley as well.[LNB] I'm holding interviews to bring in someone else. Jon was brilliant and a massive part of why the team have been so fit and strong over the past couple of years.[LNB] I'm keen to bring in someone as soon as possible because I can't have the lads' fitness and strength dipping.[LNB] I tried to talk Jon round but it was too good an offer for him and you can't blame him. Whatever job you are in, you aspire to go on to different levels and I think he has done that by going to a big club like Burnley.[LNB] There are two or three irons in the fire and we will have to make a decision as soon as possible on which one we think will be best for us and fit in the best.[LNB] Bradbury, who is being assisted by veteran frontman Steve Fletcher, has former Dean Court favourite Neil Moss as his goalkeeping coach, the former Cherries stopper remaining on board after Howe's exit.[LNB] Mossy has stayed which is excellent for me because he is a great goalkeeping coach and a big character to have around, said Bradbury, who has temporarily hung up his boots to focus on his new role.[LNB] He's been around Eddie and Jason for the past couple of years so it is a help for me if I need to speak to him about anything. He has been really supportive.[LNB] Chief scout Des Taylor, brought to Dean Court by Howe, also remains part of the Cherries set-up.[LNB] Bradbury added: Des is back here again with us, which is a massive help. He's been different class since he's been involved and he's done well for us.[LNB]
