The Cherries, hit with a 17-point deduction at the start of the League Two campaign, brushed aside Aldershot courtesy of goals from Danny Hollands and veteran striker Steve Fletcher. Howe said: "It has been a tremendous effort and at last we are off the bottom two - but there is still a long way to go. "The players gave everything and worked so hard and they have been labouring under this penalty for so long. "No way do we believe the job is done because there is a long way to go and the positions can easily be reversed - but this is a possible turning point in the season for us."
