CHERRIES are close to securing an extension to the loan deal of Nicholas Bignall.[LNB] Reading, the striker's parent club, today reported that the frontman will remain at Dean Court until January 14.[LNB] But Cherries have confirmed they are awaiting final approval from the Football League. Bignall started Saturday's League One clash against Hartlepool United and would bolster Eddie Howe's resources after hotshot Josh McQuoid joined Millwall last month.[LNB] Meanwhile, Cherries have been boosted by the news that right-back Adam Smith will be available for tomorrow night's trip to Meadow Lane.[LNB] The Tottenham loanee was intitally thought to have collected five yellow cards - resulting in a suspension.[LNB] But the club has now confirmed Smith's caution against Hartlepool on Saturday was his fourth booking, meaning he could line up in Nottingham tomorrow night.[LNB]
