Cherries begin boss hunt

Bournemouth chairman Eddie Mitchell has already received applications for the newly vacant manager's position. Eddie Howe and assistant Jason Tindall are set to complete a move to Burnley this weekend after overseeing their 100th match in charge of the Cherries - a 2-1 defeat at Colchester. Speaking to the Daily Echo, Mitchell said: "We've got to have a serious look at what we're going to do in the next few days. "Tuesday's match at Rochdale is four days away and a lot can be done in that time. We wouldn't rule out bringing in somebody. "We're not going to be rushed into anything. I think Eddie has set up the playing side of the club very well and it will be a great opportunity for somebody to come in and carry on his good work. "I'm a great admirer of Eddie and Jason. They've done fantastically for the club."
