Cherries: Alexander joins Hill and Coleman

AS the AFC Bournemouth-bashing season shows no signs of relenting, hypocrisy, it would appear, is the watchword of northern-based football managers.[LNB] In hot pursuit of Accrington Stanley boss John Coleman and Rochdale manager Keith Hill slamming Cherries over their historical financial difficulties, Macclesfield's Keith Alexander has decided to join the debate.[LNB] Speaking to the Macclesfield Express ahead of Cherries' trip to Moss Rose tomorrow, Alexander was quoted as saying: I don't look at them with envy and I don't feel sorry for them. They have been in administration and they are living above their means. It's not the way we do business but how they do business is up to them.[LNB] If the Football League let Bournemouth continue to play in the competition, that's not our problem.[LNB] We have to work with what we've got. I'm not in a position to comment on how other clubs run themselves.[LNB] Curiously though, Alexander was full of praise for the job Accrington boss Coleman has done in guiding Stanley to mid-table, even as they faced a winding-up petition over an unpaid tax bill which has now been paid off.[LNB] Alexander, whose side faces Accrington on Tuesday, told the same newspaper: John Coleman's performed miracles there.[LNB] They are beating teams nobody expected them to beat. The last eight weeks have thrown up some tough games for us and they don't look like getting any easier.[LNB]
