Here's the initial post match reaction from the Cherries camp after their opening day defeat at The Valley. Manager Eddie Howe was quoted after the match as saying: "It was a game of two halves. In the first-half, we were slow out of the traps. We improved vastly in the second-half, our mentality had changed and were on the front foot. It's a baptism of fire, but what better way to start the season than against the best sides and to see how far we've come".
