Here's our look at the weekend action from the Championship.

For the second week running, Burnley had to come from behind to claim a point, this time against AFC Bournemouth at Turf Moor. Recond signing Rantie gave teh Cherries the lead in the 50th minute, with goal scoring machine Ings bagging a share of the points in the 84th minute to keep the Clarets top. Burnley 1st, AFC Bournemouth 14th.

For the first time this season, Leicester City finished empty handed at home in their East Midlands derby against Nottingham Forest. Goals from Cox (31st min) and Mackie (43rd min) were enough for the visitors to bag the points. Leicester City 2nd, Nottingham Forest 5th.

The game of the day came at the Madjeski as Reading took on play-off rivals Queens Park Rangers. McCleary gave the Royals the lead in the 62nd minute only to see Barton level with 12 minutes left on the clock. Reading 6th, Queens Park Rangers 3rd.

Blackpool let a share of the spoils slip through their fingers at Bloomfield Road as Ipswich Town came from behind to bag victory. Dobbie gave the Tangerines the lead in the 23rd minute, with Nouble (65th min) and Tayloe (84th min) bagging goals to turn the game on its' head. Davies levelled for the home side in the 91st minute, only to see Murphy score the winner in the 93rd minute. Blackpool 4th, Ipswich Town 11th.

Watford were denied victory at The Riverside by Middlesbrough. Adomah gave the home side the lead mid way through the first half with Deeney levelling just before the break. Forestieri looked as if he might have bagged the winner in the 73rd minute only to see Ayala level in the 93rd minute. Middlesbrough 16th, Watford 7th.

The match between Charlton Athletic and Leeds United was delayed to clear water off the pitch at The Valley, which seemed to suit the visitors rather nicely! In the McCormack show, he bagged all of the United's goals (17th, 48th (pen), 73rd and 91st mins), while the home side could only respond through Stewart (45th min) and Jackson (70th min). Charlton Athletic 19th, Leeds United 8th.

Derby County are edging closer to the play-off places after their convincing 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday at Pride Park. Quick fire goals from Buxton (45th min), Hughes (49th min) and Martin (58th min) proved to be too much for the Owls. Derby County 9th, Sheffield Wednesday 22nd.

Brighton & Hove Albion managed to clock up a decent win against Blackburn Rovers at The AMEX as Barnes (35th pen & 77th mins) and Forster-Caskey (56th min) ensured that the points remained on the south coast. Brighton & Hove Albion 10th, Blackburn Rovers 13th.

Birmingham City managed to claim a morale boosting victory over Huddersfield Town at the John Smith Stadium. Zigic gave the Blues the lead in the 11th minute, with Gerrard levelling 20 minutes later. A brace from Bartley in the 66th and 81st minutes made sure that the points were heading back to the West Midlands. Huddersfield Town 15th, Birmingham City 18th.

Bolton Wanderers extended their unbeaten run to 7 matches with a convincing 3-1 win over Millwall at The Reebok. Hall gave the home side the lead in the 5th minute, only to see Easter level just before the half hour. Goals from Beckford (43rd min) and Moritz (89th min) made sure the points. Bolton Wanderers 17th, Millwall 20th.

The only other game played on Saturday saw a riveting 0-0 played out between Barnsley (23rd) and Doncaster Rovers (21st) at Oakwell.

Yeovil Town (24th) play Wigan Athletic (12th) on Sunday.
