With Marc Pugh indicating that he's not going to sign a new contract beyond the current season, could it be that Marc Pugh could be about to return to Burnley, to be reunited with a club close to his roots and with Eddie Howe who signed Pugh for the Cherries in the first place?
A deal could be on the cards, said to be in the region of £500,000 despite interest from Cardiff City and Derby County for the wingers services.
Cherries Chairman, Eddie Mitchell, is quoted as saying that: "They have got to come up with a good offer and a good offer is what he is worth to us over the next year. We have got to consider whether he stays with us next season and walks away for nothing, or if we get a fee for him now".
