Bradbury: We rode our luck

Bournemouth boss Lee Bradbury admitted his side were fortunate to come away with all three points in the 2-1 victory at Plymouth. Rory Fallon equalised for the Pilgrims after Marc Pugh had given the Cherries an early lead before veteran Steve Fletcher won it for the away side six minutes from time. It was Bournemouth's first win since Bradbury was placed in permanent charge and the Cherries boss said: "We rode our luck at times but the lads dealt with it well. "They were a threat all day. Rory Fallon was good and held the ball up well and brought their players into play, so it was a difficult afternoon, but sometimes you've got to win a little bit ugly - it's the sign of a good side. "We want to play football, but you can't always do it and you've got to be able to mix it up and live with teams like that, they're fighting for their lives. On the performances of goalkeeper Shwan Jalal and assistant boss Fletcher, Bradbury added: "Shwan's been great all season for us and made important saves at big times but all the lads have put in great performances and every one of them was excellent. Fletcher's done it as well - he's another one that's been massive for the club."
