Bradbury off to a flier

Assistant manager Steve Fletcher struck late to give Bournemouth manager Lee Bradbury a winning start in his first game since being made Eddie Howe's permanent successor in a 2-1 win at Plymouth. Fletcher came off the bench and fired home to continue the south-coast side's quest for back-to-back promotions after Rory Fallon's second-half strike had looked likely to earn hard-up Argyle a point. They had found the Cherries' Iraq-born goalkeeper Shwan Jalal almost impassable after Marc Pugh had put the visitors ahead.
