Bradbury keen to take Cherries chance
Bournemouth caretaker boss Lee Bradbury is determined to make the most of a golden opportunity to become a full-time manager, starting with a trip to Rochdale.
Cherries chairman Eddie Mitchell has tasked the 35-year-old striker with temporarily replacing Eddie Howe, who moved to take control of Burnley on Sunday.
Speaking to the Bournemouth Echo, Bradbury said: "It's a lucky break.
"There is a great togetherness and camaraderie among the squad and (Mitchell) didn't want to risk losing that.
"There is never a perfect time to hang up your boots or to go into management. I feel I could play for at least another couple of years.
"But the way I look at it, this could be the start of a 20-year career in management."
