Bournemouth chairman Eddie Mitchell has confirmed caretaker duo Lee Bradbury and Steve Fletcher are in pole position to take permanent charge at Dean Court. The pair masterminded the weekend's 1-0 win over league leaders Brighton, their first victory since Eddie Howe's departure, with an impressed Mitchell watching from the stands. Mitchell told the Bournemouth Echo: "It certainly hasn't done them any harm, let's put it that way. As it is at the moment, they are doing a great job and have got to be the main contenders. "We're not going to rush into anything. But, certainly, with the way the boys are playing and the way they are being managed, we couldn't ask for anything better. "Bradders was there at 9am on Saturday. That's the type of thing I'm looking for - hard work and enjoyment. "What a club to be in charge of. At the moment, it is unbelievable and we are a fantastic team."
