Bradbury happy after hard-earned win

Bournemouth manager Lee Bradbury admitted his side were made to work hard for their 1-0 win at lowly Walsall. A second-half goal from Michael Symes was enough to sink Dean Smith's side and means the second-placed Cherries are unbeaten in six matches since Lee Bradbury took over. He said: "I thought Walsall did brilliantly and worked really hard for Dean. They are a hard team to play against and from what I've seen they will stay up. I don't think there will be a problem because he has the team working well together. "I said to my boys that if we matched them for work rate we should get chances, and we could have had two or three goals if we had taken them. "We have a good work ethic which has got us where we are. The players work really hard and we have a bit of quality when we get the ball out wide."
