Cherries without Partington

Bournemouth's Joe Partington will miss their clash with Notts County and the rest of the season.

The midfielder, 23, who has made 18 appearances in 2012/13, suffered a fractured right fibula in training and manager Eddie Howe admitted his absence comes as a blow.

Howe has been developing the Welshman into a defender and is excited about his prospects when he returns from injury.

The Cherries boss is hopeful that Lewis Grabban, 25, will have recovered from his bout of tonsillitis to feature at the Goldsands Stadium. The player missed their victory over Scunthorpe on Monday.

Midfielder Eunan O'Kane is likely to start again after he starred in that victory having shaken off a foot injury he suffered on Good Friday. A combination of intensive treatment and a fear of losing his place saw O'Kane declared fit at the last minute.

Notts County will be without influential midfielder Alan Judge.

Judge, recently nominated for the npower League One Player of the Year accolade, received his 10th yellow card of the season during the 2-1 home defeat to Yeovil on Monday and will begin a two-match suspension against the title-chasing Cherries.

Magpies manager Chris Kiwomya admits they will miss the Irishman, who has scored twice in the last two games.

"He has been one of the bright sparks, but we have to adapt and go down there and give a good account of ourselves," said Kiwomya.

Joss Labadie could replace Judge in the starting line-up after he was recalled early from his loan spell at Torquay this week.

Jeff Hughes is also an option for Kiwomya, while forward Francois Zoko will be hoping for a recall after starting the last four matches on the bench.
