Cherries wait on O'Kane

Bournemouth will wait on midfielder Eunan O'Kane ahead of the clash with Doncaster.

The former Torquay man has still not returned to training having missed the 1-0 loss to Derby last time out and Andrew Surman is on standby to deputise once more as they search for just their second Sky Bet Championship win of 2014.

The Cherries remain without left-back Charlie Daniels as he continues his recovery from a thigh injury while centre-back Elliott Ward remains sidelined with a knee injury.

Former Charlton striker Yann Kermorgant and midfielder Ryan Fraser will both hope to be handed starts against Paul Dickov's men.

Gabriel Tamas, Jordan Bowery and Chris Brown return to the Doncaster squad for the trip.

All three players missed the defeat against Yeovil last weekend, defender Tamas through injury while Bowery and Brown were suffering with illness.

Theo Robinson was expected to make his return at Huish Park following knee surgery but like fellow strikers Bowery and Brown he was also struck down by a virus. A late decision will be made on whether Robinson travels to the south coast.

Ross Turnbull is nearing a return from the injury that has kept him out so far this month so a decision about whether to keep on-loan Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone will be made in the next week to 10 days.
