Cherries quartet in contention

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has a fully-fit squad to choose from ahead of their Sky Bet Championship opener against Charlton.

Howe could hand debuts to all four of his summer signings as they prepare for life in English football's second tier for only the second time.

Defenders Elliot Ward and Ian Harte could both feature at the back, while forward Mohamed Coulibaly is expected to lead the line.

The Cherries also added Norwich winger Andrew Surman on a season-long loan on Thursday and he also is in contention to start.

Charlton could hand debuts to strike duo Marvin Sordell and Simon Church.

The pair signed on Thursday and could be in contention, while fellow new boys Richard Wood and Mark Gower are also hoping for inclusion.

The Addicks have no fresh injury concerns but will have to make do without summer departures Scott Wagstaff, Bradley Wright-Phillips and Danny Haynes.

The teams last met almost 18 months ago when Charlton left Dean Court with all three points thanks to a last minute Yann Kermogrant winner during their promotion season.
