Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe believes his side are enjoying their best spell in the Barclays Premier League but has refused to get carried away.
The Cherries have won their last three Premier League games, including the 1-0 victory over current champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Howe's outfit have not lost since the beginning of November and, after beating the Blues, they hosted Manchester United and won 2-1 against Louis van Gaal's men.
But 38-year-old Howe, who also guided Bournemouth to victory at West Brom last time out, insists his squad are focused on keeping the winning run going.
"We are certainly enjoying our best spell in the Premier League but the challenge to keep it going is very difficult," he said.
"I would say we have been pretty consistent.
"I wouldn't say the spirit is any higher than it has been at any other time.
"People may find that hard to believe, but even during the difficult moments we have had this season, the spirit in the camp, the enthusiasm, the lads with each other, the environment they have created is very strong."
Bournemouth face Crystal Palace, who have won three out of their last four, on Boxing Day and Howe accepts they will be a tough challenge.
"It's an exciting game for us because we are back at home and in front of our own supporters at Christmas," Howe added.
"We very much respect Crystal Palace and the work that Alan Pardew has done there.
"They are a club that we look at and would like to emulate."
