Birmingham City Reaction - Cherries II

16 December 2013 19:53
Here's further Cherries post match reaction from the home defeat at the weekend.

Midfielder Eunan O'Kane, was quoted after the match as saying: "That little bit of luck we needed just didn't happen for us, but I think we can be happy with our performance. Apart from the two goals, which we pretty much handed to them, I don't think Lee Camp had a save to make. Although we lost and it is hard to take, I think we need to take the positives and move on to next week. It's not easy to do that now, maybe on Monday or Tuesday it will be a little bit easier. But right now, we are gutted because we played well but didn’t come away with anything. That's football and I'm sure there will be weeks where we come away from games thinking that we were lucky. It is swings and roundabouts and unfortunately things don't seem to be going for us at the moment. It's just a case of working hard on the training ground and if we do that, then the results will come. I don’t know what he is on but he definitely earned his money. He made five or six really good saves and a couple of times I was up in the air, thinking that we had scored. But when we sit down and watch the video I don't think there will be too many negatives. We moved the ball well and created chances, and on another day we could have won. I don't think we will get too downhearted in the same way that we didn't get carried away when we beat Reading. I think that will stand us in good stead going forward".
