Bartley urges Cherries riposte

Midfielder Marvin Bartley is confident Bournemouth can bounce back from last Saturday's defeat at Oldham by beating Carlisle this weekend. The Cherries were 1-0 ahead at half-time thanks to an injury-time strike from Rhoys Wiggins, but goals from Kieran Lee and Ournare Tounkare ended a run of five games without defeat. "We have worked hard this week and are looking forward to to the game on Saturday," he told the club's official website. "We're still disappointed about the result on Saturday. There was no indication at all that they would get back into the game because it was so comfortable. "It's gone now, though, and we are looking forward to going again on Saturday against Carlisle. We can not dwell too long on last Saturday and we have to draw on the experiences of the way we responded to setbacks last season. "We have a lot of big characters in the changing room and we are big enough to get over setbacks and are now in a good frame of mind looking forward to an important week with two home games."
