Arter on comeback trail

Bournemouth have been boosted by the news that young midfielder Harry Arter came through a reserve-team fixture against Swindon unscathed. Arter only arrived at Dean Court in the summer, but the Republic of Ireland Under-19 International managed just five appearances before requiring a double hernia operation. The former Charlton youngster signed for the Cherries from Woking and will now be looking to get back in the first-team picture after scoring in the 2-0 win over the Robins. Arter told the Echo: "It was good to score, in that position just behind the striker scoring is important and I know the manager is going to want that player to try to chip in with his share of goals."
