Arter fit for Cherries

Bournemouth should have Harry Arter available for their Carling Cup clash Southampton. The midfielder made his debut in the 1-0 defeat at Charlton on Saturday and was replaced at the interval after feeling his knee. But the 20-year-old should be fit to feature against the Saints after manager Eddie Howe withdrew him more for tactical reasons as the away side looked for a way back into the match. Arter's replacement, Michael Symes, is still not at 100% despite getting a solid half under his belt. The striker has been struggling with a groin injury over the summer and he may have to settle for a start on the bench again. Brett Pitman is likely to lead the line as Howe names an unchanged side at St Mary's.
