Harry Arter is available to Eddie Howe following his double hernia operation. Having undergone surgery to rectify a hernia problem, Harry Arter is now knocking on the door of the first team again. Manager Eddie Howe is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I think Harry’s done very well – we’re really pleased with him. He had a very good pre-season and was a little bit unfortunate to find himself out of the team, but continued to work very hard and improve his game. The timing of his injury was unfortunate because he was knocking on the door for a starting place. Now he’s back fit it’s good to see him back and he’s an important member of the squad. He’s got a lot of talent and is technically very good. He made the big step up from non-league and he’s made it look quite easy, to be honest. He can play anywhere. He’s quite versatile – he can play in that role just behind the frontman, he can play wide or he can play in central midfield in a 4-4-2. He gives us various options and it’s really pleasing to have him back".
