With the loan window due to close on Thursday afternoon, manager Eddie Howe has come out to say that it's unlikely that he's going to strengthen his squas as the season moves in to the final few weeks.
Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Howe is quoted as saying: "As we stand, I have had a good look at the situation and, when you assess our squad as a whole, I am very happy with it. Now we have got almost everybody fit, there is competition for places in almost every position. If we were to do anything before the deadline, it would be very difficult to justify bringing someone in to play ahead of the players that we already have. If we were to pick up an injury, then, potentially, it may be different. The lads have been excellent. The squad is tight, there is a good atmosphere and a good feeling within the camp. With any signing, it can potentially jeopardise that if you get someone who doesn’t fit the character of the group".
