A Miraculous Turn Around - Elphick

Skipper Tommy Elphick speaks of the transformation in the Cherries season from relegation fodder to promotion candidates.

Influential defender, Tommy Elphick, who earlier this week was named as Club Captain, in place of Miles Addison, has spoken of the way in which Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall have helped to turn the playing fortunes around at Dean Court.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Elphick is quoted as saying: "The manager has been superb and I can’t speak highly enough of him. The turnaround has been nothing short of miraculous and it is down to him, Jason and their backroom staff. The squad hasn’t really changed much. A few players have come in and Brett Pitman and Matt Ritchie have certainly played a part. The run we went on straight after the manager came in was crucial and a lot was down to him getting us organised and getting us together. We owe it to him more than anyone else to get over the line now".
