Cherries defender Miles Addison fears for his future now that the Club has been promoted.

With the Cherries poised to play in the second teir for the first time in a generation, Cherries central defender, Miles Addison fears for his place as the Club prepares for the new season at the higher level.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Addison is quoted as saying: "For me, it is going to be brilliant being back in the Championship. It was our aim at the start of the season and we have achieved it. Some of the boys haven’t played there and I think they deserve their chance. I am 100 per cent convinced they will flourish in the second tier of the English league. I was in the Derby squad that got promoted to the Premier League and I can honestly say that I think this team has more ability. I am not sure if it has more knowhow, experience and steel but it has definitely got more ability".

On the current central defensive partnership: "I think the steel is gradually coming into our game. We didn’t concede many goals in the last few games of the season and there was a lot of grit and determination. If we keep adding that to our game, we will be fine in the Championship. I am hopefully going to be on schedule to be fit for the start of pre-season and I would say I have got the biggest challenge of my career trying to get back in this team".
