Turner targets Stanley success

The 18-year-old had been linked with a move to several League One clubs after his impressive debut season, but elected to sign a new two-year contract at the Crown Ground. And he admits that manager John Coleman, assistant boss Jimmy Bell and soon-to-be chairman David O'Neill played a major role in his decision to stay put. He told Press Association Sport: "John Coleman and (assistant manager) Jimmy Bell have played big parts in my decision to stay here, as has David O'Neill, who has spoken to me throughout the season and has always had faith in my ability. "I'm hoping to play more games than I did last season, starting more games and becoming more well established within the first team. "I want to get my name on the scoresheet as soon as I can and help the club finish higher in the table than last year, those are my main aims."
