Stanley swoop for Mannix

Accrington Stanley have added former loanee David Mannix to their ranks on a permanent basis.

The midfielder spent a month on loan with the club last season but has now signed a permanent deal at the Fraser Eagle Stadium.

The former Liverpool youngster has returned to the UK following a year in Norway with Ham Kam.

Previously on transfer deadline day, Stanley completed the signing of Charlton defender Aswad Thomas on a month's loan.

Both players will go straight into the squad for Saturday's home clash with Wycombe Wanderers.
