Stanley swoop for loan duo

Accrington Stanley have pulled off a double loan swoop after landing defender Kieran Charnock and striker Kallum Higginbotham.

Charnock, 24, has joined the League Two strugglers on a one-month loan deal from Peterborough United.

Meanwhile, Rochdale striker Higginbotham has arrived at the Fraser Eagle Stadium on a similar four-week basis.

Both new signings are expected to feature in the squad that will travel to fellow strugglers Luton Town on Saturday.
