Stanley swoop for Dennehy

The 20-year-old midfielder has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Black Cats during two years at the Stadium of Light.

However, he impressed Reda manager John Coleman during a midweek reserve team game for the League Two club against Blackpool and has signed a short-term deal at the Fraser Eagle Stadium.

Irishman Dennehy has also represented Kerry in Gaelic Football.
