Accrington Stanley boss John Coleman has agreed to sign Charlton Athletic defender Paulo Monteiro on a one-month loan deal.
The 23-year-old Portuguese centre-half arrived at The Valley less than four weeks ago and has still to make a first-team appearance for the club.
He started his career at Sporting Braga and also played in France for Istres before joining Romanian side Farul.
Monteiro joins another Charlton player, Aswad Thomas, on loan at the Fraser Eagle Stadium.
The 17-year-old has scored twice in five appearances for Coleman's side.
