Stanley sign Portuguese star

Accrington Stanley boss John Coleman has signed Portuguese central defender Mauro Silva Almeida until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old impressed Coleman during the club's recent training break in Spain.
The former FC Porto player had a trial with Plymouth Argyle last season and has also played in Holland and Bulgaria.
"We've agreed a deal with him," Coleman confirmed. "He's a central defender who's quite a dominating player.
"He's very aggressive and strong and I think that's something we've maybe been lacking a little. He's just what we need."
