Stanley fail in striker bid

Accrington Stanley have had a six-figure bid for York City hot-shot Clayton Donaldson rejected by the Conference club.
Donaldson, 22, has been monitored by a number of League Two clubs after bagging 18 goals for the Minstermen this season.
Peterborough United have already had a £100,000 turned down by York, who are keen to keep hold of the former Hull City striker.
Stanley are believed to have tabled a cash-plus-player bid for the Bradford-born frontman.
