Stanley boss in no hurry

Accrington Stanley manager John Coleman has insisted he will wait until the time is right to strengthen his squad in January.

Coleman is hoping to bring in several players during the month, but will not make any panic-buys.

The Reds' manager told the Accrington Observer: "I am just waiting for people to come back to me and I am trying to sort things out.

"It is a waiting game and it can be said to be a thankless task, but if I gave up my job tomorrow there would be at least 20 people wanting to have these thankless tasks."

Accrington have already made one addition to their squad this month with the acquisition of Kieran Charnock on loan from Peterborough United until the end of the season.
