Reds snare Leeds youngster

Accrington Stanley have signed teenage Leeds United defender Tom Lees on loan until the turn of the year.

The 18-year-old has yet to feature in the first team at Elland Road, but will gain valuable experience during his time with the Reds.

United boss Simon Grayson told his club's official website: "Tom did well when he was with the first team on their pre-season tour of Ireland.

"He showed that he was ready to make the step up to experience first-team football.

"The move to Accrington will give him the opportunity to spend time in a first-team environment and we will be keeping an eye on him."
