Accrington Stanley's record appearance holder Paul Mullin has put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at the club until 2010.
The 33-year-old has made 213 appearances during two spells with the Lancashire club.
Meanwhile, Stanley have handed teenage winger Bobby Grant a first professional contract.
The 17-year-old has made just one appearance for the first team at the Fraser Eagle Stadium - in the final game of last season - but has been handed an 18-month contract by the League Two strugglers.
"Bobby's a really good lad. He's got a sweet left foot and he's wanting to learn all the time," said assistant manager Jimmy Bell.
"Obviously he's still young, but I can see him having a good career at Accrington and making a real success of it here."
