Rochdale boss Steve Parkin expects striker Lee McEvilly to return to Spotland after Accrington Stanley's clash with Woking on Saturday.
Dale's Northern Ireland international has spent the past month on loan with Stanley, scoring once in three games, but the Conference outfit have shown little interest in extending the deal.
Parkin told the Rochdale Observer: "They've not been in touch to say they want him for another month or they want to sign him permanently.
"There hasn't been any interest from other clubs, so we'll welcome him back.
"Hopefully he's a bit fitter and sharper after getting some games under his belt. We will see where we go from there."
