Gornell stay interests Coleman

Accrington Stanley boss John Coleman has expressed a desire to extend Terry Gornell's loan spell at the club until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old Tranmere Rovers striker has found the net four times in 11 appearances for the Reds but is in his final month at the Fraser Eagle Stadium.

Coleman said: "I want to bring another striker in and have been trying but it does depend who's available.

"I'd like to get Terry until the end of the season too but it depends what Tranmere say. I'll keep hunting."

Meanwhile, midfielder Callum Higginbotham has returned to Rochdale after spending the last month on loan with Stanley.
