Draw disappoints Coleman
15 Sep 2008 - 14:16:48
Accrington Stanley boss John Coleman was left disappointed by his side's 1-1 draw at home to Notts County, despite the Reds fighting back to earn a point.
Jimmy Ryan smashed home a superb injury-time volley to rescue a point, but Coleman felt his side should have secured a victory.
He told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph: "I'm a bit disappointed because I expect to win every home we play, but it was a good game and our fans will be happy that we haven't rolled over and died in the last few minutes.
"We never gave up and I thought we were going to nick another right at the end. We need to take that attitude into our next game.
"A draw was possibly the fairest result. They had all the play in the second half, but I thought we dominated the first half.
"But these are games we should be winning."
