Craney seals Stanley return

Midfielder Ian Craney has sealed his return to Accrington Stanley from Swansea City.

The 25-year-old struggled to make his mark with the Swans and was loaned back to the Reds, before completing a club record £85,000 switch, signing a deal running until the summer of 2011 with Stanley.

He told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to be back here at Accrington.

"I have great memories from the Conference-winning season and it's been fantastic coming back on loan these last few months.

"Accrington Stanley is a terrific club with a great manager and is well set up behind the scenes.

"The club has big ambitions and I look forward to achieving more success here in the future."
